The Confidence Factor | Carol Sankar | 2015

Women in the United States are to earn at the same capacity as men by 2020. Although the research suggests the same, we are finding details that due to the confidence of women, that number would probably be more significant around 2025. Due to this compelling research that I have been doing for the past 4 years, what has driven me to really be passionate about the confidence factor for women is that there many industries, especially real estate and construction, that has virtually been untouched by women. It is not due to the lack of resources, but due to the lack of the confidence that it takes to yield in a man’s industry. There are seven components to the confidence factor which deals with everything from exposure to mentorship, exposure to male mentors, exposure to asking the right questions, and more.
