Full STEAM Ahead: Why Arts Education is Critical to America’s Success
Janice is currently the Executive Director of the Genesee Center for the Arts & Education. Prior to joining this organization in 2005, she was with Eastman Kodak Company for 24 years. She spent her career at Kodak in various engineering and management positions. Janice is active in the Monroe Avenue Merchants Association and the Council of Agency Executives. She also is on the board of directors and helped found Kamina Friends, a local non-profit whose mission is to help start small businesses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The work of this non-profit is now taking place in 3 communities in the Congo, has helped over 200 businesses start or expand, and more than 1000 people gain new employment.
